How to choose a Bali water park
Most Bali water-park days centre on Kuta and Canggu, so where you stay matters. Travellers based in Ubud face a road transfer each way. Our Bali tours guide covers day trips that combine a water park with other stops, and the best tours in Bali roundup lists operators for the wider island.
Entry prices differ for international and domestic visitors at several parks, so check which rate applies.
The water parks and water-park-style attractions
1. Waterbom Bali, Kuta — Bali’s full-size slide park
Waterbom Bali is the only conventional, full-size water park confirmed on this list, with slides, a kids’ area and a lazy river reported by travel sites. It sits on Jl. Kartika Plaza in Kuta and is open daily from 9 am to 6 pm, according to the official site.
The Single Day Pass lists at IDR 630,000 for an adult, IDR 495,000 for a child aged 2-11, and IDR 2,200,000 for a family of 2 adults and 2 children (checked October 2026). An All-In Pass is IDR 885,000 for an adult and IDR 550,000 for a child; the adult version adds a towel, a regular locker and IDR 200,000 of in-park credit.
Rules: some of the bigger slides need riders to be over 100 cm, while the Kids Area has no height minimum. Single riders up to 136 kg can use most slides, and staff may check weight at the slide entry.
Downside: food, drinks, towel hire, lockers, the FlowRider, photos and gazebos cost extra on the Single Day Pass, and both passes showed “Fully Booked” on the page when checked. Book ahead for school holidays.

2. Splash Waterpark, Canggu — smaller and calmer
Splash Waterpark sits in the Canggu Club area near Berawa, and is aimed at families with younger children. A July 2026 article from Popbela reports daily hours of 9 am to 6 pm WITA.
The same article lists international prices of IDR 400,000 for an adult and IDR 270,000 for a child aged 3-12, with children under 3 and seniors over 60 free. Local residents pay about half. No height rules were published on the page read.
Downside: status is the least certain on this list. One booking listing for a Splash day pass showed as unavailable, and the operator, Finns Recreation Club, had not confirmed 2026 operations on a page that could be read. Check Finns’ channels before driving to Canggu.

3. Bali Wake Park Aqualand, Denpasar — inflatables and a ninja course
Bali Wake Park runs a cable wakeboard park plus Aqualand, a water zone with inflatables and a ninja water course. Its official site puts it on Jl. Raya Pelabuhan Benoa No. 7X in Denpasar.
International prices listed there are IDR 250,000 for 1 hour in Aqualand and IDR 500,000 for a full-day pass. The cable park costs more: IDR 400,000 for 1 hour and IDR 850,000 for the day. Opening hours and age or height rules were not published on the pages read, so confirm by phone or WhatsApp before booking.
Downside: this is an activity park, not a slide park, so it suits confident swimmers and older children better than toddlers.

4. Taman Safari Bali Water Play Zone, Gianyar — water as a side activity
Taman Safari Bali, the wildlife park formerly known as Bali Safari and Marine Park, has a Water Play Zone for cooling off after the animal shows. The park’s own Bali page describes it as a place to swim and beat the heat.
That page did not list ticket prices, hours or rules, and resellers disagree on which ticket tier includes the water area. Treat it as an add-on to a safari day, not a stand-alone water-park trip.
Downside: the page did not confirm what the zone contains, so slide-seeking teens may be disappointed.

5. Hard Rock Hotel Bali Kids Water Park, Kuta — one for hotel guests
Hard Rock Hotel Bali has a Kids Water Park at its main pool with slides, a waterfall bucket and water-play areas, open 9 am to 6 pm on the hotel’s pool page. The main pool runs 8 am to 9 pm.
The page says the White Double Slider is closed for renovation until 9 November 2026, while the Spiral Slide stays open subject to rider weight restrictions. It does not say whether non-guests can enter, nor does it list age or height rules.
Downside: this is a guest amenity first. Ask the hotel before planning a day visit.
When a water park is not worth it
Skip the water park if rain is forecast for the whole day. Slides and lazy rivers lose most of their appeal under cloud.
Skip it with babies and toddlers, who will spend most of the day in a small kids’ area. A hotel pool with a splash area does the job for far less.
Also skip the big parks if the group dislikes queues, heights or crowds. Travellers who want a different mix can look at the best things to do in Bali instead.
Where to stay
Kuta and Legian suit Waterbom and the Kuta hotel park. Canggu and Berawa suit families who want Splash Waterpark nearby. Sanur is quieter and works if Bali Wake Park is the priority. The full area breakdown is in our where to stay in Bali guide.
